Summary
The recent pandemic has led to significant increases in staff turnover in many industries. An important concern is how to manage and retain the existing talent that will be needed when the effects of the pandemic have passed.
Motivation is the underlying energy that keeps people focused on their goals. Motivating employees means providing a background that engages them to the point that doing the job well is important to them.
This applies to any organisation. In this paper the context is the hotel industry.
